Police investigating a suspected robbery in Manchester city centre have released CCTV.
At around 9pm on March 18th a group of three men were threatened by two men outside the Corn Exchange, Hanging Ditch, Cateaton Street.
The offenders then fled towards the Arndale Centre.
Officers are treating this as linked to another robbery in the city centre earlier the same evening.
Earlier on the same night at around 8pm a man was robbed of his mobile phone after being threatened by two men on Victoria Street, one of whom was carrying a screwdriver.
Detective Constable Louise Kelly, of GMP’s Central Division, said: “We’re keen to speak to anyone who has any information about this suspected robbery or the robbery carried out the same evening.”
Anyone with information should contact police on 101 quoting crime number 121742F of 2018.
