Three police officers assaulted in Partington

Three officers were assaulted on June 6th in the Partington area, one was spat at, the other officer kicked in the face and the third was headbutted.

The officers were simply helping to facilitate the safe return into care of a vulnerable missing person when they were attacked.

Fortunately all the officers are ok and the offender who assaulted the police officers is now in custody.

Information is sketchy at this time and we will further update the article once more is known.
