Huge telecommunications tower to be installed near Partington

A very large telecommunications tower could be installed on land near to Partington just of Manchester Road if planners give the thumbs up.

The tower which will eventually house mobile phone masts will come with a large base station.

It does not mean the signals from this base station will improve the dreadful signals in Partington, a Three mobile mast was put up near to the Partington sports centre a long time ago and did nothing to improve the signal on that newtwork.

The land this tower will be built on is Peel Holdings and is expected to be approved by planners at Trafford Council this week.
