Staffies could soon be on the banned breed list in the UK

An enquiry is currently underway with the Food and Rural Affairs Committee into breed specific legislation that could see the staffie on the banned list and the RSPCA are saying that PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) want to see the breed on the banned list.

Staffordshire bull terriers are lovely animals, no malice in them at all and many people in the UK have one as their pet, some have more than one.

If the law is changed and staffies are banned it could mean you will have to say goodbye to the animal as you would be then breaking the law, this will cause immense distress to people and of course to the animal.

We have contacted PETA for a statement and we have also contacted the Food and Rural Affairs for comments/

And a clear message for all those with a Staffie, we completely object to the banning of this animal in the UK.
