Recorded crime goes down in Trafford for the month of May 2018

Overall recorded crime is lower here in Trafford by some margin.

With it being recorded crime. many crimes are not recorded and so you must take the official statistics as a guide only.

Partington saw a 5% drop in recorded crime for May 2018 which is a good thing, we think June will be somewhat different though.

Altrincham Town Centre: 69 this year, 86 last year.

Broadheath: 25 this year, 27 last year.

Sale Brooklands: 44 this year, 47 last year.

Sale Town Centre: 68 this year, 49 last year.

Sale Moor South: 61 this year, 61 last year.

Stretford: 46 this year, 52 last year.

Longford East (Old Trafford): 126 this year, 135 last year.

Urmston Town Centre: 33 this year, 42 last year.

West Timperley: 49 this year, 62 last year.

Partington: 100 this year, 105 last year.

Officers do not report as many crimes as they once did, it is though still important for the public to report anything they see that is suspicious, you can do this using the 101 number or use the chat facility on the GMP website, in an emergency call 999, you can also report crime anonymously to an independent service called Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
