Tesco on Manor Avenue in Sale will have another pump on the forecourt soon if proposals are accepted by planners at Trafford Council.
It will also mean an extension to the existing canopy making the front look much bigger.
This would also mean access for those wanting to shop at the Tesco store could be restricted.
Already we see people cycling or walking around the forecourt, with the north-western entrance being incredibly dangerous to those on foot or pedal cycle as cars often can be seen coming in at speed.
The southern exit towards the library is used mostly by pedestrians, this will be much more reduced if plans are approved, since the canopy will have been extended almost to Coppice Avenue.
We think Tesco should revise its plans and consider vulnerable road users in the plans.
