Dennis Norden who will be remembered best for his ITV series ‘It’ll be alright on the night” has died aged 96.
Norden who was born on Feb 6th 1922 in Hackney South East London, and was educated at Craven Park elementary school and City of London school.
He married in 1942 to Avril and had two children.
He served in the RAF as a wireless operator in the second world war, once the war ended he returned to writing and wrote for many people at the time.
Norden hosted three shows for ITV, Looks familiar, it’ll be alright on the night and laughter file.
Due to his age and ill-health at the time Norden decided to end his time on the silver screen in 2006.
He died on September 19th 2018 at the Royal Free Hospital in London, according to reports his wife Avril had died July the same year.
