A Partington man has been fined after he was caught fly tipping on Myrtle Road.

Matthew Fletcher, of Walnut Road, Partington, pleaded guilty to the fly tipping offence when he appeared at Manchester Magistrates Court on November 21.
Fletcher was tracked down after an investigation by the council and interviewed at Trafford Town Hall on June 25 by the Environmental Improvement Team. During the interview, he admitted that he committed the offence.
When he appeared in court, Fletcher was fined £360 which was reduced to £240 after he pleaded guilty. The Magistrates also awarded £240 costs and Fletcher was ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge, a total of £510.
Although this man was caught out, many get away with it, a hot spot in Partington is actually on Chapel Lane.

the Council is passionate about ensuring our neighbourhoods are clean and attractive places.
“We still face problems with more and more rubbish being fly tipped. This is something we will never tolerate and we will take even tougher action to show we are serious about tackling this issue.
“We have listened to our communities. We’re asking everyone for their support, so that together we can make where you live a place to be really proud of. We want to make Trafford an even greener and better place to live.”
