Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has been sacked this morning with immediate effect.
Mourinho was at his players even before this current campaign started by saying “some of his players are dead” he continued to disrespect his players throughout the season.
United are miles behind the leaders and some way off top 4 which is where the club needs to be at the end of this season to get a Champions League place.
Mourinho lived in hotels rather than buy a house to live in and settle down in Manchester, this in itself tells us he had no intentions of staying as the manager, this must have also played with the mind of some of the players.
It seemed he always chose those he liked and dumped on those he did not like and that included Pogba.
The loss at Liverpool at the weekend was the final straw for the United board and the so-called ‘Special one’ is now nothing more than a ‘Damaged one’
Mourinho though is a talented manager, he has won many things even with United, sadly he lost the dressing room and in many ways lost the plot on his time at Manchester United.
We understand Michael Carrick will take over from Mourinho for a couple of days until the club can find a suitable replacement for the out going manager until the end of the season where United will have to make sure the right man is selected and have someone in charge of finding the right players that will help United become great again.
United issued a statement after the sacking of the manager saying: “Manchester United announces that manager Jose Mourinho has left the club with immediate effect.
The club would like to thank Jose for his work during his time at Manchester United and to wish him success in the future.
A new caretaker manager will be appointed until the end of the current season, while the club conducts a thorough recruitment process for a new, full-time manager.”
