A flight attendant has died on a flight to JFK in New York which diverted to San Francisco in a mid air emergency.
The male attendant served with Hawaiian Airlines for over 30 years took ill whilst on board the aircraft on Thursday Jan 24, the captain is thought to have called for doctors or nurses to go and assist.
Several medics was actually on board the flight and helped keep the attendant alive, however once the aircraft which diverted to San Francisco had landed, paramedics declared him dead.
It is thought the male attendent had a heart attack.
Passengers had to wait for a while before being taken of the aircraft and put on other flights to JFK and was refunded by the airline.
