A Co-op foodstore in Sale was robbed overnight

Shortly after 1.40am today Friday 1 February 2019, Police were called to reports of a burglary at the Co-op on Maple Road in Brooklands Sale.

Reports came in on social media saying the ATM has been blown up, the store had recently been robbed of thousands of pounds.

Officers attended and established a large quantity of cash was stolen.

No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.
