It could be the last time this race is run in Trafford as the organisers have announced a change in the route.
Today though was about the running and thousands of runners turned out cheered on by thousands of spectators.
As ever Brooklands Road in Sale was packed out all waiting the runners, these spectators really give the runners a lift.
By the time they got to where we was positioned they all looked very tired as can be seen in the video footage, many took our advice and worn older trainers, many with the head up looking to the horizon which saves on energy.
Well done to all the runners for taking part in this marathon, Trafford loves this event, people are inspired by it and hope very much that the organisers keep it in Trafford.
