The Netherlands won right at the end  after a tight battle with Sweden and North Macedonia.

Eurovision 2019 was held in Israel.

For the entire contest North Macedonia had been in the lead, even the UK gave top marks to the blonde bombshell Tamara Todevska.

The UK was hit hard this year though, brexit protest maybe? some are saying we should not enter the competition ever again if that was the case, although our entry was not as good as those of the past, it did deserve much more than 16 points.

We saw some countries voting as they normally do in a political way which got some boos in the audience watching on.

The music for us was not as great as in previous years and greatfully Madonna came to rescue things, as if it was like the superbowl half-time show.

Here is the full list of countries and how many votes they got in order:

  1. The Netherlands – 492
  2. Italy – 465
  3. Russia – 369
  4. Switzerland – 360
  5. Norway – 338
  6. Sweden – 332
  7. Azerbaijan – 297
  8. North Macedonia – 295
  9. Australia – 285
  10. Iceland – 234
  11. Czech Republic 157
  12. Denmark – 120
  13. Slovenia – 105
  14. France – 105
  15. Cyprus – 101
  16. Malta – 95
  17. Serbia – 92
  18. Albania – 90
  19. Estonia – 88
  20. San Marino – 81
  21. Greece – 71
  22. Spain – 60
  23. Israel – 47
  24. Germany – 32
  25. Belarus – 31
  26. United Kingdom – 16

Well done to The Netherlands and we offer our hand around the shoulders of Michael Rice the UK entry who deserved better and should not have been part of a posible EU protest, for those who decided such things here is the video, the more you watch the better it gets!
