This years Flixton Festival has Achieved Record Ticket Sales.

Flixton Cricket and Sports Club have reached a record high in ticket sales for their
seventh annual music festival.

Taking place on Sunday 25th August 2019, the much loved community event has received a fantastic response to hosting Flixton Festival’s biggest year yet.

You’ll have to be quick to get your tickets before they sell out completely!

This year’s family friendly event is bringing some big names and rising stars of the
northern music scene.

Plus they’ve included a children’s entertainment area (included in the ticket price). Performers such as Dragon’s Den successors Sublime Science. Royal
family favourite Magic Philip, who’s also performed for the Beckham’s children.

A murder mystery and a family rave! There is also an unlimited use wristband available to buy for their inflatable fairground. Flixton Festival is guaranteed to keep the family entertained all day.

There will be a street food area full of some of the Northwest’s best independent traders.
Highlights include wood fired pizza, Halloumi fries, Italian street food, Tapas and more.
Plus Meadows Gin will be bringing ‘Ginny’, their mobile gin bar, and there will be a
prosecco and cocktail bar along side their main bars.

The line up this year is their best yet. They’ve secured some of the best in the business.

Artful Dodger and Phats and Small, both well loved DJs from the 90’s, will be bringing the
nostalgic fun for this year’s audience. They’ll be performing some of their most well loved tracks such as ‘Re-wind’ one of the most notable tracks behind Craig David’s huge

Plus the iconic dance track ‘Turn Around’ with be featured along side all their
other hit tracks. North West band’s The Mercy Mile, Reclaim Vienna, Hanover are performing on the day.

Also Manchester based, rising star, Jess Kemp will be bringing her band to perform her
hit tracks amongst some well known tunes. Unity Radio presenter, producer and DJ
Sarah Giggle will also be there, on the decks in the evening.

Flixton Cricket and Sports club are a local, self funded, community sports club. They’re
passionate about keeping sports financially accessible to the local community. Not only
do they have cricket on offer, they also have tennis, bowls, karate, table tennis and more.

They also have a well loved function room that hosts a variety of community based clubs
and activities. As well as being a great venue for celebrations.

Seven years ago, the club were at a cross roads, they were at the point of finances
becoming difficult. They needed to raise more funds for the club without sacrificing the
quality of the sports coaching and equipment. For the teams, that wasn’t an option they
were prepared to consider.

They didn’t want to increase memberships and out price some of their existing members. So they decided to raise the money themselves by starting up their own festival. Flixton Festival’s popularity has grown quickly and has become a highly in demand event for thousands of local families.

This year the team are excited to host their biggest event to date, eroding great value for
money fun for all the family. Tickets are priced at just £15 for adults and £8 for children,
under 5’s go free! Plus the unlimited use fairground wristbands are just £7.
