Police appeal for information after Four men threatened and robbed a family in there own home in Warburton

Police are appealing for information about an armed robbery in Warburton.

At around 9pm on Monday 16 September 2019, a group of men wearing face coverings and armed with a crowbar and machetes forced their way into a house on Dunham Road, Warburton.

The four men threatened a family, including two young children, inside the property before stealing the family car and a number of personal items.

The car was later recovered in Partington.

Detectives from GMP’s Stretford CID office are investigating the incident and are appealing for anybody with information to come forward.

As a result of enquiries so far, two warrants have been executed and a number of items recovered. A 32-year-old man has also been arrested on suspicion of robbery before being released on bail.
