Trafford borough has several rugby playing schools and many other schools experiment with rugby as part of their school curriculum – Trafford MV are inviting these schools and young players at the schools to get in touch and see how we can all work together to progress our school and club interaction to give young people sporting opportunities.

Rugby has many character building attributes such as leadership, teamwork, respect which will give benefits through out life and not just on the playing field.

Trafford MV has mini/junior on Sunday mornings from as young as 3 years and this progresses though the age groups with rugby skill being added gradually as the young players become proficient.

The club are particularly keen for local teenagers to get involved in making that big step from school rugby into club rugby. Trafford MV has a great coaching system and was recently awarded the title of ‘Mini Club Of The Year’ at the National Rugby Awards Dinner and Presentation Day held at Twickenham Stadium, the home of England Rugby Union.

If you are interested in becoming a part of our Rugby family at Trafford MV then please message wilfdooley@virginmedia.com for more info or call down on a Sunday morning from 10.15am at the Club.
