You can place your tributes at anytime on Saturday November 2 at the Golden Hill Park’s remembrance garden, you can place anything from poppys, wreaths, messages, crosses and ribbons on the sloping flower bed.

You can contact The Urmston Wombles on their Facebook page if you need more information.

We also ask you to remember the Trafford Vets and the hard work they do to make sure those that gave everything to this country in all wars get the respect they deserve.

For remembrance Sunday the Urmston parade will start from the library at 10.25am and will reach Davyhulme war memorial on Crofts Bank Road at 10.55am.
