Five acres of land opposite Cross Lane Park has suddenly gone up fpr sale in Partington.
Although it is early days it is likely to attract housing developers in the new year, the land has not been used for a very long time and would be an ideal location for any housing development.
The preffered infrastructure would be shops, entertainment and medical, because the land is very big even a small housing development could also be part of the plans.
On the Avison Young website it says:
“The property comprises undeveloped land extending to approximately 5.51 acres (2.23 hectares) fronting onto Moss Lane to the south eastern fringe of Partington. The property occupies a semi-rural position and is adjoined by open fields to the south and east. A 1950s housing estate is located to the immediate north west(along Russell Road and Moss Lane) and Cross Lane Park and play area overlook the site to the west.”
It is one we will be watching very closely and will have an update when someone buys the land in the new year.
We noticed also the website address is wrong on the info board it says avisonyoung.com when it’s https://www.avisonyoung.co.uk/en_GB/properties/-/property/detail-gva+15393
