
Police are appealing for information after a man was seriously injured following a collision in Dunham.
At 3.40pm on Thursday 28 May 2020, police were called to reports of a collision involving a car and a bicycle on Charcoal Road.
Officers attended and established that a Fiat 500 and bicycle had collided at the junction of Dunham Road.
The cyclist, an 80-year-old man, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
No arrests have been made and an investigation is underway.
PC Peter Cunningham, of GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said:
“First and foremost, our thoughts are with the man as he receives treatment in hospital.
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding the collision and I appeal to anyone with information or dash cam footage to contact us.”
