Police were called tonight 20 July 2020 after yet more trouble was seen going on in Walton Park in Sale.

Tonight reports coming into us saying that a gang of around 25 youths were all in a pack nearer to the car park close to Raglan Road.

Moments later a gang of around 8 males were seen waiting at the corner of Raglan Road and Walton Road with two men in white clothing, one of the men was talking on the phone which was likely to be the police.

The next thing we hear was police came and more police were on the Bridgewater Canal tow path asking people had they seen a group of 6 guys and one riding an orange mountain bike.

Police continued to ask people into Walton Park.

The local councillors will also be contacted soon about the situation and what they can do along with police so no more problems surface.

It is now known that bikes were stolen and also mobile phones, we know that three lads came out of the park heading north and causing some walkers an issue by throwing water at them.
