Plans for a single-storey retail development at Partington Shopping Centre has been scrapped

The single -storey retail development that was to be built next to Partington Fish Bar at the shopping centre has been scrapped.

We can confirm that the new development was going to be a ‘Subway’ however they decided to move into the vacant unit where William Hill once used to operate from.

Subway then tell us that they no longer are interested in coming to Partington at this time although they could still move in at a later date since the application has been approved and is still live.

Of course what Partington needs is a big Aldi or Lidl store to be built, in the years to come the area will need something like this as thousands of new people swamp the area leaving convenience stores struggling to cope with demand.
