Coronavirus Crisis: Trafford cancels Remembrance Sunday services

Remembrance Sunday in Sale: Pic Darren Marsden

Sadly due to the on-going issues with the Coronavirus all Remembrance day services for the public have been cancelled this year.

However those other than the public which means councillors, emergency services and members of the military are holding a service to remember all of those who died in wars around the world for our freedoms we normally have.

A video is to be produced on the day so members of the public can see the service.

We are though hoping for a change of heart by the council as we feel members of the public have the rights to pay there respects in a covid secure way, we have contacted the council today to see what can be done.

You can also ask your local councillor or MP to help get some service in your part of Trafford.
