Beloved Homecare, a local provider of homecare within Trafford has been inspected and rated ‘Outstanding’ by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) for the second time in 5 years. This is the highest rating possible.

Beloved specialises in elderly and dementia care for its clients within Trafford. They offer a range of different services from 24-hour live-in care to dementia and companionship support services.

Beloved are a family-run business, led by MD Mark Collier, whose prior experience of poor home care for his own mother gave him the motivation to start his own home care business.

In December 2020, Beloved were subject to a routine inspection from the CQC. Following from an ‘Outstanding’ overall rating in March 2018, Beloved were again rated ‘Outstanding’ by the CQC in December 2020.

This amazing achievement makes Beloved Homecare the only provider of home care within Trafford to enjoy an ‘Outstanding’ CQC rating. In addition to this, the new inspection rating makes Beloved one of four within Greater Manchester to have four or more individual enquiry lines at ‘Outstanding’. Throughout the inspection, inspectors look to ensure quality standards and analyse how an organisation minimises risk for its clients and staff. In part of the inspection report it was noted that “Staff had gone ‘above and beyond’ what was expected from their roles to ensure people received outstanding care and support. People who used the service and their relatives were at the heart of how the service was run, and involvement in the care they received was a high priority to the management and staff team.”

Managing Director, Mark Collier, denotes the achievement as a ‘true team effort’. He told News4Trafford that the ‘hard work and dedication put into the business from all members of staff has been reflected with such a high inspection rating from the CQC.’
