The eService Selfhelp service is funded by NHS Trafford CCG and is available free of charge and is for individuals suffering from depression, anxiety, panic, stress, and/or poor sleep, all at a mild to moderate level, Self Help can offer access to guided self-help through a range of computerised CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) based programmes.
CBT is the frontline treatment for common mental health problems such as depression and anxiety, and our cCBT, or eTherapies, continue to successfully aid the majority of our clients on their road to recovery.
People wishing to access eTherapy will be assessed by our service and placed into therapy within 1 – 2 weeks of a referral being made, thus reducing the time they would usually spend waiting for alternative therapies.
The eTherapy services have no waiting lists.
If suitable for our service, clients will be supported by an eTherapy Coordinator who will complete weekly/fortnightly support calls to check therapeutic progress, discuss any achievements/concerns, and to manage any risk or safeguarding issues, should they arise.
Upon completion of eTherapy, aDischargeSummarywill be securely faxed to the client’s GP, detailing our client’s therapeutic progression, any further actions that will be taken by us and recommended actions for the GP.
