Davyhulme Park: Google Maps

Police were called out to reports of a serious assault taking place in Davyhulme Park on 5 June 2021 at approximately 6pm.

Shortly after arriving the found a 16-year-old boy with serious injuries to one of his legs, another 16-year-old boy was located and arrested on suspicion with intent t to cause grievous bodily harm and actual bodily harm after assaulting another victim.

In recent times we have reported on anti social behaviour in and around this park with gangs of youths hanging out and often causing problems for people around the park, this type of behaviour also keeps nice people away making the park more like a ghetto.

Friends of Davyhulme Park have done a superb job making this park one of the best in Trafford for all this effort to be ruined by a mindless few is really frustrating.

Police are doing all they can with others to tackle the problem not only in this park but also in other areas of Urmston which includes Urmston Meadows and of course the dispersal order currently ongoing around an ex golf course in nearby Flixton.

If you see any anti social behaviour happening or are concerned you can ring 101 or use the chat facility on the GMP website only in an emergency call 999.
