On 3 August 2021 legendary jazz and swing vocalist Tony Bennett will turn 95-years-old.
To celebrate the occasion here in Trafford and to support the Alzheimer’s Society, local crooner Wayne Devlin will be performing live at Mulino restaurant in Urmston.
Tony Bennett announced earlier this year that he is living with Alzheimer’s disease and when Trafford singer Wayne heard this news he got straight to work to salute his musical hero.
Previously Wayne sang for a full 24 hours to raise funds for the Alzheimer’s Society and collected an amazing £8,597 for the charity.
With letters of support from the Prime Minister Boris Johnson and even some messages from Tony Bennett himself, the fundraiser was a total success.
Now Wayne plans to take to the stage once again to celebrate Tony’s 95th birthday and raise further funds for the Alzheimer’s Society.
The event will take place on Tuesday 3rd August at 6pm in the beautiful setting of Mulino restaurant in Urmston.
This event will be COVID-19 compliant. For further information and to book a table please telephone Mulino restaurant on 0161 286 7819.
Wayne will have a collection bucket with him at the event which you are welcome to call in and donate to or you can donate online via his JustGiving page.
