According to Trafford Planning Committee meetings calendar the proposed mixed use development on a former market stall known as Market 41 in Urmston will get to be seen this week.
The new owners Urmston Beverage and Leisure Company Ltd will build on the former market a much bigger development than the one that was originally going to be built, this new development will come with it a 30 bed hotel.
Issues surrounding car parking seems to have been resolved.
The development will be a great addition for Urmston and more people have approved the development than objected, on the committee report it says “The proposal is considered to be acceptable in principle as it comprises town centre uses on a sustainable brownfield site and would contribute to the vitality of Urmston Town Centre”
This development will have three floors and will have a mix of shops and cafes, music room, play area, stalls and a hotel.
The new owners are going to give Urmston a retail boost with community in mind, giving people a chance to do many things all under one roof.
Trafford Planning officers have given this a grant status and it is expected to be approved.
