Storm Barra which is currently over Ireland looks set to head towards Manchester.
Data from Earth.Nullschool shows the current position of the storm and at 11am shows it heading towards Manchester although by the time it hits the UK the centre of the storm could move in any direction.
The storm has gusts of up to 80mph in some places although by the time it reaches the North West it will be around 50mph in some places.
We expect the storm to be over the UK by midday and will stick around for a while, with the wind will come some heavy rain which will mean localised flooding in some places and lots of huge puddles due to leaves blocking road drains.
