Detectives investigating a burglary in which thousands of pounds in cash and a selection of high-value watches were stolen have released CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to.
Police officers were called at around 11.15am on 27 October 2021 to a report of a burglary at a property on Minister Drive, Urmston.
The suspect is believed to have arrived at the property in a taxi at around 1.15pm the previous day on the 26 October and minutes later departed the property in the same taxi.
Enquiries have established that the taxi journey ended on Auburn Street in Manchester City Centre.
DC Conny Geiger, of GMP Trafford’s Criminal Investigation Department, said: “Burglary an intrusive and despicable crime.
“Thankfully, no one was injured during this incident. However, it has left the victim feeling incredibly shaken and unsafe in their own home.
“We are continuing to investigate this incident at pace and are particularly keen to speak to the man pictured in the CCTV images in relation to this incident.
“If this is you or you know this man pictured, we would urge you to contact police as soon as possible.”
