Europe’s leading shopping and leisure destination hosts 3-day inclusive beauty celebration packed full of beauty treats, expert advice, and empowering entertainment

Today, Trafford Centre’s extra special beauty takeover event launched; a first of its kind for the centre and the biggest event of this scale in over three years. The Beauty Unfiltered event houses international beauty and wellness brands to shop, explore and experience.

The centrepiece of day 1 was an empowering beauty show, also due to be performed across the bank holiday weekend, featuring unique performances from the glamorous Globe Girls and a surprise ‘beauty tribe’ showcase to entertain and uplift the public through emotive music and a celebration of inclusivity and acceptance; encouraging the public to feel beautiful in their own unique skin.

In celebration of religious holiday Eid, the centre came alive in the evening with festivities including beautiful harp music, henna art workshops and an explosive performance combining traditional instruments, music, costume and dance from the SonAash Sisters and award winning DnS Dholis.

Eid entertainment will continue tomorrow, Saturday 30th April between 6-9pm, located in the Main Dome and Lower Regent Crescent.

Trafford Centre’s Beauty Unfiltered event 2022 celebrates the beauty in every individual, in all its gorgeous, unfiltered glory; encouraging customers to embrace uniqueness and beauty from within and joining a revolution to flip society’s expectations of beauty on its head, whilst showcasing the centre as THE home for inclusive beauty, with hundreds of diverse brands on offer.

The event continues over bank holiday weekend with beauty giants Selfridges and John Lewis taking over the NEW pop-up beauty studio in Orient Way. A pop-up from international brand Charlotte Tilbury will also be on offer from Saturday 30th April whilst Boots will be hosting a separate consultation space and beauty clinic Thérapie will be offering skin treatments, discounts, goodie bags and prizes over a two-day period – the perfect day or weekend trip for beauty lovers across the northwest and beyond.

Zoe Inman, Centre Director at Trafford Centre, said: “We’re delighted to be hosting a 3-day beauty extravaganza at Trafford Centre this spring; an opportunity to showcase the incredible range of international beauty brands on offer at the centre. Beauty Unfiltered not only highlights our beauty offering but a powerful message to inspire our customers. After a challenging time and not hosting an internal event of this scale since 2019, we’re incredibly excited to be hosting such an uplifting event. This signifies a powerful change for the centre and is the start of an extra exciting year ahead!”

National breast cancer awareness charity CoppaFeel! will also be in Trafford Centre on Saturday 30th April to help raise vital breast cancer awareness with their fabulous team of volunteers called the Boobettes – keep an eye out for handouts, stickers, and their giant boob costumes (of course)!
