Manchester United have been linked with many players since the new manager Erik Ten Hag signed on the dotted lines and yet to this date have bought no one.
Many players are leaving the club at the end of this month and replacements will be needed in key areas.
The club has long been linked with Frankie De Jong yet United it seems are stalling on the price for the Dutchman, it seems all the players they have been linked with cost too much and United are trying to be pawn brokers, trying to get the cheapest price possible.
Football clubs won’t give in to the demands they want for a player so unless they cough up the money wanted United will end up with either some player no one has ever heard of before or a player that is coming close to retirement.
Next season is probably one of the most important for Manchester United to get back winning things again, to show other teams nationally and internationally the club is back in business and on the right path to winning the Premier League and cup competition.
They won’t get any of this hoping for cut price players! Erik Ten Hag if he does not get the replacements he wants will not be able to win much with the current players, although with Pogba leaving and others will mean more money for United to spend, the question is spend on who?
Manchester United should be chasing the might of Man City and Liverpool, Chelsea and even Spurs are right up there in the mix, every cup game played must be won or at least try to win a game unlike last season.
