Your guide to what shops will be open on Bank Holiday Monday

Due to Queen Elizabeth II being buried, a bank holiday (Sept 19) has been called and many shops and other places will be shut for the day to allow those interested to mourn and reflect on her amazing life.

Gladly we can tell you that many supermarkets and small stores will reopen at 5pm on Monday here is a list of stores that will be shut for the entire day and those that will reopen at 5pm:

• Co-op stores will be shut until 5pm
• Sainsbury’s convenience stores and petrol stations will open from 5pm until 10pm
• Argos in Sainsbury’s will be shut for the day
• Aldi – to close all day
• Asda – to close all stores until 5pm
• Morrisons – closed all day although petrol stations will be open from 5pm
• Tesco express stores will be closed until 5pm all the big stores will be shut
• Waitrose – closed all day
• Marks and Spencer – closed all day
• Poundland – closed all day
• B&Q – Closed all day
• Primark – Closed all day
• John Lewis – Closed all day
• Pets at home – Closed all day
• Currys – Closed all Day
• Homebase – Closed all day
• Ikea – Closed all day
• Holland and Barratt – Closed all day

All firms listed will not have any delivery services on Monday, everything returns to normal on Tuesday.
