Three-UK mobile network has submitted an appeal to the decision by Trafford Planning to refuse an 18 metre 5G mast on Washway Road in Sale.
The mast was refused on siting and appearance and would be seen by all on Beechfield Close and on the opposite side of the A56.
A large amount of objections came in from all around the area the mast was proposed to be built including councillors and a local housing group.
The mast would cause more than just appearance problems, a constant buzzing noise will be heard by all, the radio frequencies involved will cause health problems and we understand some properties on Beechfield Close are owned which means the property price would reduce.
On a new application proposed to be built on Manor Avenue by the same network it clearly says that they discounted other areas for the mast because it was too close to residential areas! the appealed mast is on top of a residential area.
In a recent officers report on a Three-UK mast that was refused on Moss Lane in Timperley it clearly said the mast did not comply with ICNIRP guidelines which was interesting since all the 5G masts are very similar.
Cornerstone who does masts for O2 and Vodafone has said in the past that no one should be anywhere near mobile phone masts and cabinets.
We have spoken to mast engineers and those who work around them all told us that they cannot prove the frequency is safe, looking at how mast engineers keep safe whilst building and working on them threw up more proof of the dangers of 5G.
For the residents of Beechfield Close who will be directly affected by this huge mast it would be appropriate to get objecting now! you can do so by clicking this link www.gov.uk/appeal-planning-inspectorate
