Miller Homes Supports Perry’s Pantry With Christmas Food Donation

This festive season, Miller Homes has partnered with Perry’s Pantry, a local foodbank in Manchester, to provide a donation of much needed goods.

As part of its ongoing commitment to community welfare, the home builder donated over £100 worth of essential long-life goods, including UHT milk, squash, canned fruit, vegetables, and meat, along with women’s hygiene products, toothpaste, and other daily necessities.

Perry’s Pantry, located near Miller Homes’ flagship development Varsity Quarter, has been a beacon of support for local families across Manchester. Founded just over three years ago, the charity serves approximately 50 families each week by providing affordable food and essential items.

The pantry offers a weekly shop for just £6 or £9 depending on family size and income, with items ranging from fresh fruit and vegetables to toiletries, hygiene products, and even pet food. Perry’s Pantry also provides a free referral-based service to offer additional food parcels to individuals facing hardship.

Christmas can be a time where families really struggle, and we hope this donation helps to ease the burden for those who need it most during the festive period.”

Perry’s Pantry is based in Chorlton on Merseybank Avenue, and the charity’s premises are kindly provided by Southway Housing. The pantry’s mission is to provide long-term support to those in need, ensuring families can access affordable food and essential items.
