Sinderland Brook in Partington and Sale is at high risk of flooding

With the endless rain tonight and more to come overnight it was expected some flooding will occur.

Sinderland Brook in Partington is at the time of publishing almost 1 meter above normal and is at high risk of flooding, this means Covershaw Lane will be hit badly as water from Sinderland Brook will merge with Calderwell Brook that runs by the side of the lane.

The Brook is very long and goes past Woodheys Park in Sale, This area is also currently on high alert of flooding at the time of publishing.

Red brook in Partington is also at risk of flooding which means property could be at risk on Oak Road.

On the River Mersey both Flixton and Sale are well within normal ranges although both are increasing in water levels.
