Gas Leak Alerts in Carrington: Emergency Response update

Cadent Gas emergency response was called out to reports yesterday (13 April) of strong smells of gas at two locations on Manchester Road in Carrington and nearer Partington.

The first location reported was close to Common Lane, and the second was just before the railway bridge heading towards Partington.

Smelling gas like this, especially if it’s strong, could be very dangerous to everyone and buildings, and must be reported as soon as possible on 0800 111 999 or click here for more information.

If you smell gas in the two areas even just a whiff means their is a leak somewhere near and must be reported as soon as possible.
