Charlotte Daly, a dedicated member of Stoke and Staffordshire based children’s charity Adoption Matters, is taking on a remarkable fundraising challenge to support the charity’s life‑changing work with children and families.
Charlotte, who joined Adoption Matters in 2021 as an enquiry adviser, now works as a social work assistant working closely with families who want to adopt.
She has marked 2026 as her year of personal growth – after only taking up running in December 2025, she has already completed the Chester 10k and her first ever half marathon – the Wirral Half – and is now using her achievements to raise vital funds for the charity she has proudly served for more than five years.
On Sunday 20 September 2026, Charlotte will represent Adoption Matters at the Warrington Running Festival, taking on her next Half Marathon challenge.
Charlotte says:
“2026 has been the year to push myself and prove that I am capable of things I never thought I could do a year ago.
“I’ve seen first-hand the incredible work Adoption Matters does every day, and I wanted to give something back to support my colleagues and the families we work with.”
Adoption Matters, a leading children’s charity and adoption agency, provides specialist support to adoptive families and children across the North West, Yorkshire, Stoke, Staffordshire and parts of the North East and the Midlands.
Charlotte’s fundraising will help the charity to offer more therapeutic services, family support, and guidance to those navigating the adoption journey.
Charlotte has launched her fundraising page and is encouraging supporters to donate whatever they can to help her reach her target.
