Police are looking for the two women (pictured) as they believe both can assist with enquiries into a theft at around 3pm on 20 August at the One Stop Post Office, Moorside Road in Flixton.
It was reported to police that two people went into the post office and asked to exchange £10 notes for £20 notes, which led to them taking £420 during the exchange in a possible psychological scam.
It might have been that the thieves initiated an exchange, secretly hid the Post Office’s money, cancelled the exchange, took their own money back, and walked out holding both piles.
