Clare Murray has been appointed Director of Complex Services by Altrincham-based Compassionate Care Group.
In her new role, Clare is committed to the delivery of high-quality, person centred and clinically safe care, as well as ensuring all clients receive compassionate care, promoting wellbeing, dignity, independence and positive outcomes.
With ambitious goals for the future, Clare wants to further her career becoming a highly skilled leader in quality and clinical governance, as well as build Compassionate Care Group so that it is renowned for being a centre of excellence, recognised for its bespoke training, care and nurse-led approach.
With 20 years’ experience, working across adult and children’s social care, Clare has developed a deep understanding in delivering high quality clinical complex care.
Her extensive knowledge in this area is impressive, having previously held registered manager and head of complex services positions, and working alongside nurses, clinicians and wider MDT professionals for over 15 years.
Clare says: “I was attracted to Compassionate Care Group as it is family owned, with family values at the heart of the company. They have no intention of being the biggest clinical complex care provider, instead they want to be one of the best, recognised as one of the highest-quality providers in the sector. Compassionate Care Group focuses on quality, with the provision of care at the forefront, not growth.”
In the next few months Clare will be building a team of clinicians and support workers, all of whom will be like minded and focused on safe, effective person-centred care, and have empathy and the willingness to go the extra mile to help clients.
Clare adds: “With a desire to exceed expectations, I promise to be there for my team and allow them to have a voice. I want clients to be cared for like we would our own family and will ensure everyone is adequately trained to provide this, with client views and requirements at the centre of all decisions.”
Noel Morgan-Davies, Commercial Director at Compassionate Care Group, concludes: “Clare is absolutely the right person to lead our new complex care division and build the team. Her experience in this sector is superb whilst her dedicated focus on quality, dignity and compassion is perfectly aligned with the business’ ethos.”
Away from work, Clare, a social butterfly, loves spending time with her family and friends, walking her two dogs, and is partial to karaoke. She enjoys holidays, travelling to different destinations, and she is committed to fundraising for those less fortunate, supporting several local charities.
Compassionate Care Group delivers a range of high quality care and support services including supported living, homecare, mental healthcare provision, emergency accommodation and respite care, children’s outreach and specialist support and is fast becoming the UK’s leading care group trusted by families, local government and housing associations.
Every individual at Compassionate Care Group is committed to The Promise; a shared pledge created with service users and colleagues to provide empowering, dignified care that makes individuals feel valued, respected and heard.
