Man City reportedly found guilty on all charges of alleged Financial breaches

Manchester City was today reported to have been found guilty of 114 alleged financial breach charges by an independent tribunal.

The club maintains that they are innocent of all charges (Misrepresented their finances between 2009 and 2018) and are expected to appeal which could mean months before a conclusion which will likely conclude in early spring, if they accept the charges the Premier League can do as it sees fit from a huge points deduction to even expulsion from the Premier League.

A Manchester City spokesperson said: “The Premier League process remains ongoing, with significant elements to be completed, and subject to strict confidentiality. As such Manchester City FC’s position remains consistent with the club’s statement of February 2023.”

The club has diligently respected due process for eight years on the basis that the Premier League Board and Executive would behave as an independent, impartial and fair-minded regulator, free from partisan influence.”

This saga must reach a conclusion for Manchester City’s current finances and the Premier League’s reputation due to the amount of time this situation has taken.
