Dave’s Hot Chicken is taking over Manchester city centre on Saturday 24 October, as its branded Jeep Wrangler, chicken mascot and hundreds of prizes tour the city before making their final stop at the brand’s newly opened Trafford Centre restaurant.

The high-energy activation will see the cult US chicken brand bring a taste of its signature personality to locations including Northern Quarter, King Street and Deansgate, surprising passers-by with prize cards redeemable exclusively at the new Dave’s Hot Chicken Trafford Centre store as well as branded bucket hat merch.

The brand’s iconic chicken mascot will hand out hundreds of prizes throughout the day, including exclusive Dave’s Hot Chicken bucket hats (bronze prize), free fries or drinks (silver prize), and free sliders (gold prize). The bucket hats will be handed out on the day while the silver and gold prize cards can be redeemed at the new Trafford Centre restaurant within one month.

The tour will begin on Oldham Street in the Northern Quarter from 10.15am, before making its way to King Street at 11.25am and Deansgate at 12.30pm. The Wrangler will then arrive at The Orient at Trafford Centre for 13:50pm.

The activation follows the opening of Dave’s Hot Chicken at Trafford Centre, bringing the brand’s famous hot chicken sliders, tenders and sides to one of the UK’s leading retail and leisure destinations.

Simon Layton, Centre Director at Trafford Centre, said: “Dave’s Hot Chicken has made a bold arrival at Trafford Centre, and this city-wide tour is a brilliant way to introduce even more people to the brand. From the energy of Manchester city centre to the final stop at The Orient, the activation reflects the fun, social experiences our guests can expect when they visit.”

Keyana Mohammadi, Director of Marketing at Dave’s Hot Chicken UK, said: “Manchester, we’re bringing the heat! Keep your eyes peeled for our Wrangler hitting the streets, handing out free sliders, fries and exclusive merch. Spot us, grab your goodies and bring that appetite to our new Trafford Centre spot!”
