Halloween 2026 in Walton Park was one of the best seen so far with the ghost ride being centre stage, lots of spooky illuminated Halloween decorations along the miniature rail track and lots of smoke from a smoke machine were a nice touch.
At the event there were kids fare rides and lots of food and drink, the spooky barge was also on hand for drinks and food, the weather was excellent for the event due to this the attendance was good which will have given the miniature train club who runs the Ghost Train and other rides through the year needed support.
This year’s event was well liked by all the kids and the adults alike and went home happy with some saying they cannot wait for next year’s Halloween event at one of the best parks in Trafford.
Walton Park is a family park in Sale and has two playgrounds, a bowling green, tennis and basketball courts, a football pitch and well looked after flowers of all types by the Friends of Walton Park group, also inside the park is Walton Park Sports Centre inside is a well run and very popular gym, a kids dance group, and an indoors 5-a-side football pitch, it is also the home of Trafford Rowing Club.
