An attempted robbery took place at Timperley Metrolink Station

An attempted robbery took place on September 26 at around 5.30pm when 4 males aged between 16 and 18-years old had followed two other males from the platform at Timperley Metrolink Station towards Park Road.

The four offenders attempted to steal a mobile phone and a watch, they used threats and pushed them.

Both lads managed to escape by running off as the four offenders walked back towards Timperley Village.

The offenders were described as two black males and the other two were white and all were wearing grey and black clothing.

Police offered advice to parents to tell your children to hide expensive mobile phones and other valuables away from prying eyes whilst in vulnerable locations, to prevent them from becoming victims and ensure they know the numbers if in any danger, calling 999 in an emergency.
