Many tributes have been paid by people who knew the man who lived on Cross Lane West in Partington, after he recently committed suicide in the most shocking way, blowing himself up in his silver car on the car park of Cross Lane Fields.
The scars of that day still remain, with the ground scorched and glass from windows still visible on where the car had been destroyed, no one to this date has touched this area, residents have though put flowers nearby in respect for this man.
It is not known why he took his life in such a way, it is not for us or anyone to guess, only he himself can answer that question and sadly has taken the answers with him.
Suicides have increased in the UK mostly down to the governments austerity plans, hitting the poorest in society the hardest, in some cases the individual sees no way out of whatever he or she has got themselves involved with, or just had enough.
We pay our respects to the man who died in Partington and send our condolences to his family and friends.
