Trafford Council tears up the plans to build a mixed use facility on a car park in Sale Moor

Trafford Council now in the hands of a different administration is to scrap the plans to build a mixed use purpose facility on Warrener Street Car Park in Sale Moor.

Under the last administration and after consultations with many protests from Sale Moor residents and ward councillors, the decision was finalised and it seems many people were happy with the idea that would have seen a new health centre, improved car parking facilities and 16 new homes split between flats and semi-detached.

It is not currently known why Trafford Labour have decided to scrap the plan and have now gone back to the drawing board and asked local people to participate in a consultation event.

The consultation event  will take place on December 6th at Sale High School on Norris Road between 5.30pm and 7.30pm.
