Champions League QF draw has been made and United play Barcelona

The road to Madrid continues and the draw for the Quarter Finals has today been made.

With the representatives of all the teams looking nervous the draw was started just after 11am UK time.

FC Barcelona will play Manchester United, and Spurs take on Manchester City, the rules though mean that United have to play at home for the first leg.

Liverpool got the easiest draw playing at Anfield against FC Porto, Ajax will play Cristiano Ronaldo’s Juventus at home.

All games at this stage are mouth-watering, the game that will be most watched will be FC Barcelona v Manchester United and with it being at Old Trafford will make it an extra special night at Old Trafford.

Some of the biggest names in world football have graced the pitch at Old Trafford and none bigger than Messi, United will hope to have everyone fit for this game.

Tottenham v Man City will be played at the new Spurs stadium, although inspired and with the team playing great stuff in the Champions League will find it very difficult to win Manchester City who on their day can win any team.

Liverpool play FC Porto, although on paper it looks to be the easiest draw, at this stage of the competition nothing is easy, and the scousers will need to be at their best at Anfield, the merseysiders have played some amazing football this year and have been a delight to watch at times.

Ties will be on 9/10th of April
