Takeaway in Partington gets a better food hygiene rating score

A takeaway in Partington that was once  given a zero food hygiene rating has since improved in an acceptable way.

Oak Road shops with Isheys at the other end

Ishy’s that operates on a single level ‘out dated’ building on Oak Road was rated zero a couple of years back and for a very good and nasty reason, since then Trafford inspectors gave the takeaway a two rating and this month the rating score improved again to an acceptable three rating.

Food hygeine ratings start from a zero this is the lowest score and moves up to the highest rating which is a five, having a three rating is considered as acceptable.

Other takeaways in the area have the current scores:

  • Village Green chippy Hall Lane: 2
  • Sayers: 3
  • Charcoal Grill Fish Bar: 3
  • Yuit Loung on Oak Road known as (Oak Road Chippy): 5
  • Partington Fish Bar and Grill: 5

It is safe to say then all takeaways in Partington are fairly safe to eat from, it is not known though how much damage has been caused by Just Eat into the takeaways profits as people can order from anywhere these days, we are aware many people in Partington have ordered from Coppice Avenue Fish Bar in Sale who offer some amazing meals however they are only a two rating!

The common issue with chip shops we found was the poor understanding of cross – contamination and allergens, this is truly dreadful and could cause death! someone with a food allergy really needs to look at going with a takeaway with a five star rating or better still not bother! safety must always come first.
