The Met office has issued a ‘Amber’ Weather Warning for Greater Manchester as a huge amount of rain is predicted to fall tomorrow, Wednesday and into Thursday.

Already we have seen the fields on Sinderland Lane flooded which in parts made driving and cycling a bit tricky, water levels are high in our rivers and brooks, the amount of rainfall expected will mean severe localised flooding.

We will keep everyone updated on the situation and give you details of road closures and bus service diversions or cancellations.
