Manchester United have reached an agreement to re-sign Cristiano Ronaldo for a reported £12.8m subject to personal terms, visa and a medical.

The 36-year-old Portugal player has said on his Facebook page:

Ronaldo played for United under Alex Ferguson and played well in almost every game he played in and was loved by the fans, creative and a wizard with the ball this man has it all.

He has kept himself very fit and would last a couple of years yet, United will be his last big name in the world of football with the light fading on his magical career he may hang up his boots or go on to play in the MLS.

Ronaldo if he agrees personal terms and has no issues with visa or medical could be wearing the famous red shirt as early as next week if all goes to plan.

This has got United fans very excited, and rivals worried, United needed a class act, someone who will give the mighty reds that bit of magic to once again be Premier League champions and win domestic and European cups, the dream could be once more a reality.
